More Post-it-notes

Hello..
Have you noticed my new blog design..

I promised in my last post that I will share the projects I am currently working on..

So here I am back with some new Post-it-Notes Fridge Magnets..

But before I move on to today's project I will answer some questions..
I often get a lot of questions about how do I make my projects..what is the process behind creating my designs...etc.. etc..
& the truth is.. There is no fixed process..
I go with the flow...
I gather things I would like to use...
( If I have some new supplies then 99% chances are that I will use them :)  )
Then I try to arrange them... mix & match... maybe add something else to add interest.. like pearls, rhinestones, ribbons, flowers etc..& experiment till I am satisfied & then I glue them up..
Simple.. :)
The only thing to keep in mind is that you have to experiment & sometimes take some risks to come up with a great idea & design...

Now lets move on to Post-it-Notes...

After searching so many places I finally got my hands on Kraft CS..
& I LOVE it..  :)
And I want to use it in all my projects...
And that is the reason behind my last 2 cards being Kraft based.. hehehe..
I also got vintage Photo & have been using it like crazy.. :)
So when I sat down to make these beauties.. these 2 things were the first things I took..
I also got some pretty PPs (from FMI, A5) & a variety of leaves recently..
So.. I started working & came up with these..

I didn't want to cover the beautiful designs so I just inked the edges with Vintage Photo & added some pearls, rhinestones, holographic glitter glue to most of them..
The 4 post-its in the 1st photo had white spaces on the top where I added some paper roses & leaves..
The springy thing was made with the leftover stems of the roses..

They look much more prettier in person..
All of the above are made from a single sheet of A5 PP.. !!!

I made all of these in a matter of few hours.. Fast na.. :)
There are more designs of Post-it-notes but will share them in my next post..

ICRC29

Hello..

New month comes with a brand new challenge at INDIAN CRAFT ROOM

Here is the Challenge for the month of May

ICRC29 – Card with Elements and a “Theme” Twist
You have to use atleast 3 ELEMENTS on your card which you will find on our DT Blogs.
You can use more than 3 elements if you like..
So that means you will have to visit each of the 5 DT Blogs to find all the elements..
& then you have to visit the ICR Blog for the TWIST..

My element is:
Ribbon!

& here is my card...

For this card I have used Kraft base.
The top panel was stamped with sheet music stamp & the embossed with my new Couture Creations- Trellis embossing folder..
The swirly & flowery design adds a very feminine touch to the card & goes well with the butterfly..
Then I inked the whole panel with Vintage Photo & adhered it to the card base with foam tape to give it some dimension..
Next I stamped the butterfly & distressed it with Mowed Lawn & Vitage Photo..
Then I fussy cut it added some black pearls to the center & adhered it to the card..
I added some ribbon & rhinestones for the finishing touch...

Be sure to list the three elements that you've used, when posting your cards.
Now hop on to find all the ELEMENTS & the TWIST
