Tea Bag Holder

Hello and welcome to Heartfelt Wednesday
Today is new release day and this months collection is Beau-Tea-Ful!!!

Tea Time Collection

As soon as I saw this collection I was sure that I wanted to make a Tea bag holder so that is exactly what I created for the release day inspiration...
Don't you think that this gift will make any tea lover happy :)
The cups are so pretty! I used them to on the cover. I added 3-D Crystal Lacquer to some parts od the cups to make then glossy and adhered the cups so that they have a slight curve for a more 3D look.
Then I paired them with some vellum flowers.

As usual the full supply list and the instructions for this Tea bag holder is at the end.

Take 4 pieces of 3 7/8" x 3 3/8" white cardstock and score at 1/2" on 3 sides and cut the 2 bottom corners to make 4 pockets. Die cut the middle using the die from  Stairway Gardens Die. Adhere a piece of pattern paper behind the die cut window. Trim away the solid corner left after die cutting on the pocket as shown. Fold the score lines and adhere the pocket inside the cover of the Tea bag holder.

Fairy Gift Box + Tutorial

Hello Friends,

Today I am sharing a tutorial for a gift box made with The Fairy Pack…
20170124_131048
First of all I took 2 pieces of cardstock measuring 8” x  8” & 9 ½” x 4”

Score the square cardstock at 2.5” on all sides, cut on the 2 score lines on both sides till the horizontal score line as shown above & fold on the score lines. For the long cardstock score at 3 ½” on both sides & fold.

Next I folded the box piece & decorated both the pieces with pattern paper from the Fairy Pack.

Glue down the box to one side of the long piece as shown.

Now to make the closure attach a piece of ribbon on the top & bottom of the lid with strong adhesive & then decorate with pattern papers.
20170124_121450
I decorated the box with chipboards, lace trim & handmade flowers.
20170124_131022
I colored the chipboard piece with metallic copper watercolor from gansai tambi watercolor set. You can see the lovely shine in the picture below.

Envelope Punch Board Gift Box Tutorial with Heartfelt Creations

Hello friends & welcome to Heartfelt Wednesday

I am sharing a tutorial for a gift box today made using Envelope Punch Board & Pampered Pooch Collection by Heartfelt Creations.

20161204_083629
We need 2 pieces of 7" x 7" cardstock. Align all 4 sides of the cardsock at 3 1/2" mark, punch & score. Repeat this with both the pieces.
20161117_210500
Now score all 4 sides of both the pieces at 3/8".
20161117_210940
Cut off the corner squares as shown. For the top portion of the box cut off both flaps from one of the sides as shown. This will be the opening of the top portion of the box. Apply tacky tape on the flaps of the bottom piece leaving 2 flaps on one of the triangle pieces. This will be the opening of bottom portion of the box. I like to decorate the box with pattern papers at this point.
20161203_162345
Carefully align and adhere the top & bottom pieces. The picture below shows how it will look like after the box is assembled. Make a hole in the top & bottom opening pieces to thread the ribbon through & tie a bow to close the box.
20161203_163305
Decorate the box with pattern papers & embellishments of your choice.
