Just a quick post to share my new card...

I love coloring Whimsy stamps.. & this couple is so adorable...  :)

I thought of doing it in black & white with a little pop of red...

Can you see my Wink of Stella glittery goodness...  :)

Here is another card using IBS products...

All the pattern papers are from the Spring Lilacs Paper Pad.

I have inked the edges with distress inks.

I  wanted a green pp for the banner to match the leaf colors on the background so I used a light brown pattern paper with butterflies from  the Spring Lilacs Paper Pad & inked it with green & black inks.

Next I stamped it with script & butterfly stamp from Spring Lilacs stamp set.

The label is cut using the largest die from Fancy Labels 2 Die & the sentiment is also from Spring Lilacs stamp set.

I have added a floral arrangement & some rhinestones for a finishing touch.

I Love You Mini Mini

Hello Friends...

I wanted to make something different & cute with the I love You Because stamp set... This stamp set has 11 wonderful reasons for loving someone... & I wanted to use them in 1 project..
So I came up with this heart shaped mini mini...

 The size of the heart is around 3.25" x 2.75"... 

I have stamped 'I Love You Because' on a banner & then I added the decorative cover with glittered heart & butterfly... 

Rest of the pages are all similar...

The background has been stamped with a decorative stamp from Spring Lilacs stamp set repeatedly in light pink ink to add interest & pattern... On top of that I have stamped 1 reason from the I love You Because stamp set & a butterfly from the Spring Lilacs stamp set ...

The back of every page is left blank to add a photograph.

I have tied all the pages with a cream twine passed through one of the holes in the heart...

I love how it turned out... I hope you like it too  :)

I love Whimsy Stamps & when I saw their DT Call I thought of giving it a try...

Its really difficult to choose only 3 projects but still I managed to do that... :)

This is a photo frame made with faux silk technique, handmade roses, die cuts & distressing.

Botanical Bliss

Hello friends...

Today I am sharing a card I made for JustRite Friday Challenge #114- Botanical Bliss

The texture, background  & color of this card is inspired by this picture

In this picture I liked the texture, pattern & color so I decided to use all of 3 elements in my card background...

I used  Frayed burlap Distress ink to stamp the Just rite French Rose on a kraft CS.

Next I colored the stamped image with Seedless Preserve, Dried marigold, Peeled paint & Faded Jeans using my water brush..

To give the striped texture I scored the whole panel using my scoreboard & then distressed it with Gathered twigs.. I have incorporated the purple mug & green leaves color in form of the glittered border on the sentiment panel & the ribbon.

Lilacs

Hello friends...

Last few days were very hectic as I had to finish many valentine's day orders in just 2 weeks time...
I didn't even get the time to do the photo-shoot for few of them... they had to be packed & dispatched so that they reached the recipient in time...
& even for the ones that I got to click some pictures were in a hurry...
However I have made a project which was totally new to me ...& it turned out to be even more beautiful than I expected... I will be sharing the pics soon...stay tuned... I know you will love it too... :)

Now enough chit-chat..lets move to a new card I made with the beautiful Lilac stamp from Spring Lilacs stamp set.
I have stamped this image on watercolor paper with archival ink & then colored it with distress inks
I layered it on top of a black die cut CC with foam tape for some dimension.
I love how this color combination turned out.. The neutral background helps the image to pop-up...

Wishing You a Beautiful Year

This is my first post for Inspired by Stamping... yayyy... so exciting...
I have made a card for this post..I have used 3 pattern papers from the Spring Lilacs Paper Pad 
for layering... Normally I don't use pattern papers for my cards...But these papers are so beautiful & well co-ordinated that it makes the layering process very easy...Next I inked the edges of all the papers & white cardstock with brown ink...


All the layers are propped up on foam tape for added dimension.

The sentiment & the butterfly are from Spring Lilacs stamp set... This sentiment is so versatile... it can be used for birthdays, new year & many more occasions...

Finally I added a satin bow & some gemstones to finish it off.. I hope you like it...

Unusual Birthday Explosion Box

Hello friends..

Here is a new explosion box I made few weeks back...

This different than my usual explosion boxes..

In-fact this one has a lot of things I have never done before...

It was made as a gift from a group of friends named 'KKRENS' to their friend from the same group.

The guideline were 'NO FLOWERS & BUTTERFLIES'...!!!

I love these 2 elements & they are almost in all the explosion boxes I have made ... So it was a bit challenging for me...

(The flowers on top were added at the last minute on the clients request... atleast the flowers made it to this box  ;)  )

Follow along to see all the new elements I have used in this explosion box..

Everything in this explosion box is linked with the birthday girl, her likes & hobbies...

 Here is a glance at the open box... see I told you this is a lot different then my usual style...

& way out of my comfort zone... The girl loves pink...a lot of pink so this box is all pinky-pinky...

 The birthday girl loves cupcakes more than cakes so it was placed as a centerpiece instead of my usual cakes... This is a chocolate cupcake with pink frosting, whipped cream & strawberry ...

This was the most difficult part of this explosion box... it took a lot of experimentation & discarded pieces before I liked the result...

 The birthday girl's hobbies are reading, dancing & photography...

So I have made her favourite miniature novels... & added a musical notes strip..

 The camera was made from scratch... with lots of layering, gloss & texture..

This panel has the group name & their group pic...

 Here you can see the layers & texture of the camera..

One panel has individual names & photographs of the group members...

The fourth panel had a personal message for the birthday girl..
