Watercolor Background

Hello friends...
This is my 2nd post today... Scroll down for my 1st post...
Here is the card that I made with a reverse background watercolor technique shared on day 1 by Shari Carroll... I used pearl mist instead of plain water to add a bit of shine to the background...
It is not showing up in the pix but it looks really pretty in real   :)

I love the lovely watercolor result so I kept rest of the card pretty simple...
I used die cut sentiments & some pearl dots to embellish my card...

Background Stamp Technique

Hello friends...

I have been trying a few techniques from the stretch your stamps 2 classes...
Here are 2 cards that I made with a background technique shared on day 1 by Tasnim Ahmed...
I loved coloring in the background stamp & fussy cutting it ... & I made both the cards with parts from 1 background ..  :)

I mixed some pearl powder in my colors to get a subtle sheen & used some pearl dots & glossy accents to some parts of the image add more dimension & interest..

I hope you like my  take on the technique shared...

Thank you for visiting today  :)

You Make Me Smile

Hello friends...

I am sharing a new card today made with a new technique for me ...
Stamping sentiment stamp repeatedly on a die cut... I learnt this technique in the online card classes that I am taking...
To make this card I die cat 2 hearts, one with vellum & the other one with white card stock..
I  took the you make me smile  for no reason stamp from I Love You Because & inked it partially & stamped it repeatedly on the heart die cut to create a pattern & then inked it with pink ink..
Then I stitched both the die cuts together...The background is made with
The background is made with stenciling... next I stamped the sentiment from the same set & embellished it with some pearl dots...

Wishing You a Beautiful Day... With No line Water-coloring

Hello friends...

Today I am sharing a card done with No line water-coloring...
I love to color & the waterlily image from Water Lily stamp set is perfect for the ongoing trend of  water-coloring...
I thought of doing the no-line version of water-coloring for this card...
& I love the result...  :)
After I finished coloring in the image  & I went ahead & heat embossed the sentiment from Big Notes II in gold... I love these big sentiments & I think the gold sentiment compliments the image beautifully...
To finish off the card I added 2 strips of gold & pink on the right side
I hope you like my card ...  :)

Set of bookmarks/ tags/ skinny cards

Hello Friends...

How are you all? I am here with some more inspiration with our floral stamps...
I have made a set of 4 bookmarks/ tags/ skinny cards...
You can use these as you wish..  :D
I started with 4 watercolor cardstock die cuts using Fancy Label Dies 3 & heat embossed them in white with various floral stamps from Friends ForeverSpring LilacsWater Lily & Lily of the Valley. Next I colored them with distress inks... I added faux stitching with my white gel pen after they were dry..
Then I die cut 4 white card stock with the ticket die from Fancy Label Dies 3 for the sentiments..
I have inked & stamped then with the banner stamp from Friends Forever  & stamped the sentiments from Friends ForeverWater Lily & Pretty Planners...
I made a 2" x 5" folded white base & added an embossed panel on top... & added my colored piece & sentiment on top...

I love how this turned out..
