Helloo...
My scrap box has started to overflow....
So I thought of making something using them...
& make a little dent in my ever growing pile of scrap papers...
& while going through them I found 6 die cut white bookmarks...
I was itching to use my new eyelet setter I bought few days back....
So... Tada....
I made 6 bookmarks....
I have used different techniques for all of them...
The first one is made with brown embossed CS... The green panel is White ivory square embossed & shaded with pencil colours on the debossed side...
I had 1 piece of ivory that I had misted with pink colour ages ago... I embossed it & coloured the leaves with green pencil colour & applied some magenta 3D outliner dots on the embossed berries...
The piece below the green ribbon is a scrap piece that was left from an old project....
The third bookmark is also made from a wet embossed CS left from an old card...
I used my MS Doily Punch to make the white paper ribbon, then added a red ribbon & 3 rhinestones & done....
For the fourth bookmark I distressed the edges of the bookmark with frayed burlap distress ink, embossed a Purple CS with birds & swirls embossing folder & brayed with the same distress ink, Distressed the edges with my scissors, added some brown rhinestones, eyelet & ribbon & done...
For the fifth bookmark I used the negative of a die cut butterfly for the focal point. I embossed a small pink square & adhered it to the back of diecut & added pearls in the center. Then I adhered it on a partially embossed & distressed cream handmade CS & added a ribbon & some light purple rhinestones for the finishing touches.
The last one is pretty simple... I just used the tile punch on purple CS & added rhinestones in the center of each flower.
Love all bookmarks and expecially the explanation of the techniques behind...Aodrable ones...
