Beat the Monday Blues...

Today I am sharing a step-by-step tutorial for my card with blue lilies to beat the Monday Blues...

Lets start with stamping the lily images from the Flower Of The Month: Easter Lily (one of my favorite stamp sets) on watercoloring cardstock with any waterproof ink... I have used Ranger Black Archival ink.  

Next I have painted it with my Distress inks & waterbrush. 

 Moving on I drew 2 diagonal lines with my black marker to block the area for my sentiment.

 Next I added black & blue ink splatters after  masking my flowers & sentiment area & added a black border.

(Quick Tip: when in a rush (or just feeling lazy ) place the stamp on the stamped image to use as a mask instead of stamping & fussy cutting the mask. ) 

 Next I took my sentiment from Summer Fun stamp set & stamped it with my black ink.
