Look For The Rainbows

Hello friends ...

Welcome to  So Suzy Stamps inspiration

I am here to share a new card I made for So Suzy Stamps  with Look For The Rainbows stamp... I love this inspirational sentiment & today I went with the theme of stars in night sky to pair with this sentiment... 

Lets start with the Tutorial to create this beautiful night sky background :

• I started with inking my cardstock with Seedless Preserve, Picked Raspberry, Chipped Sappire & Blueprint Sketch Distress inks. 
• Now I splattered it with a water using my fingers go get the ink moving & create some depth.
• Once the water was dried I took some white gesso & splattered it using my paint brush to add some brighter dots & add even more depth to the background.

• Next I took my silver die cut & adhered it to the background & trimmed off the excess.
• Finally I heat embossed my Look For The Rainbows  stamp with silver embossing powder & adhered it to my card front.

A Gift of Love

Magnolia Shaker Card

Hello Friends...

Welcome to Inspired by Stamping inspiration post...

Hope you all are  doing well...

Today I am sharing a shaker card tutorial made with Magnolias stamp set.

Lets start....

1st I stamped the  Magnolias with black archival ink on watercolor cardstock & colored it using Carved Pumpkin & Black Soot distress inks.

Then I cut the colored panel with my Gina Marie stitched rectangle dies ( I kept the unused pieces to use on another card).

I took my card base & stencilled lightly with black soot distress ink in the center. I also die cut hello twice from black cardstock & glued them together.

Now I placed some steel gray, clear & silver sequins and micro beads in the center of my card.

The final step is to cut a piece of cardstock slightly bigger than the opening in the frame & adhere it to the back of the frame & adhere this frame to the card front with foam adhesive. Keep in mind not to leave ant space in between the foam adhesive from where the shaker elements can escape. Now glue the hello die cut on top of the clear cardstock.
