Hello friends & welcome to So Suzy Stamps inspiration post
I have a card for today's blog hop made with In Love stamp. Scroll down for the tutorial...
I started with die cutting a piece of white cardstock with stitched scalloped oval die. I left the die in place & used Mini MISTI to stamp In Love stamp with black archival ink as I wanted a white edge on the die cut without any stamping. I also used some removable tape to cover the edge of the die where the stamp will leave an impression for easy cleanup. The stamp left a halo at the edge of the die so I used a black gel pen to fill in the missing area.
Once the stamping was done I used picked raspberry distress ink & Clarity Brushe to add a little shading.
I die cut a piece of white cardstock with a fancy border die, embossed it & inked it with cracked pistachio distress ink. I cut a 1/2" border from the straight edge, embossed it using a floral embossing folder.
I adhered a piece of silver glitter washi tape on the card base vertically as shown & adhered both the die cut & embossed pieces on top. Then I adhered the oval die cut on top with foam adhesive. At this point I felt that the girl was looking washed out so I added color to her dress & veil using a small round brush & stencil. I also added few drops of Gloss Carnation Pink Nuvo Crystal Drops to make her earring & to dress-up her shoes... The final step was to add tiny pearls to the die cuts.
Hope you like my card...
Thank you for visiting today....
