Hello friends & welcome to Heartfelt Wednesday...
Today I am showcasing the new Botanical Orchid Collection.

The orchid stamps & dies in this collection help to create gorgeous orchids effortlessly...

I have kept the background white on white while creating interest with die cuts, vellum & pearls...
Added a little pop of color with rhinestones & arranged my Orchids in the center....

Just Fluff Your Tutu

Hello friends & welcome to So Suzy Inspiration Post...

I am loving this new June release by So Suzy
So many encouraging sentiments... beautiful fairies & fairy dust... butterflies... snarky sentiments...
I have made today's card with the sentiment in focus...

We all need a little dose of encouragement & I love this one...

20160524_211148

  • To make the card I started out with the border die & cut out 2 borders to frame my sentiment.
  • I saved the middle part of the die cut to stamp my sentiment on.
  • I also embossed a 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock with my embossing folder.

  • 20160524_212602

  • Next I used Vesamark ink to stamp Fluff Your Tutu stamp & heat embossed it using Liquid Platinum Embossing powder
  • Now its time to assemble the card.
  • I used foam adhesive to adhere the embossed background on my A2 card front.
  • Then I glued down the sentiment panel on the embossed background.
  • To create the border I gently curved the border die cuts with the back of a paint brush & adhered the edges down as shown
  • For the final touch I added some pearls to the border.

    You are Fintastic

    Hello friends,
Welcome to Heartfelt Creations inspiration post...
Sorry for the delay in posting this weeks card... We are in the middle of shifting to a new place so all my time these days goes in packing our stuff ... & when I get a little time from that I craft...
My craft room is almost packed... except for some bare essentials for my current project...
I will be scheduling most of my June posts as I won't have internet access for few days till we get the internet connected.
So enough of my blabbering... Lets move on to my card for today...

I made a cute shaker card with the porthole stamp from Under the Sea Collection

    I love Everything About You

    Hello friends...

Hope you all are  doing well...
I have a clean & simple card to share today...
Recently I got some new stencils & I can't seem to get enough of them... specially the one I used today...
I made a love card but skipped the traditional red & pink colors to make it more masculine,,,
I started with 3 white 2"x2" cardstock squares... I inked 2 of them using my stencil & inks & stamped my sentiment from My Valentine stamp set on the 3rd one.
Then I proceeded to mount them on slightly larger black & white cardstocks.
I used an embossing folder to emboss the background & then arranged & adhered everything down on an A2 card base.
I added few rhinestones for the much needed bling in this simple card.
I hope you like my card... thank you so much for visiting today... Have a great weekend :)

    • To make this card I started with my background...I taped the Carabella Studio Petales Stencil to my textured white cardstock using low tack tape.
    • Then I used my flat paint brush to apply some distress inks in the rainbow order ( Candied AppleCarved PumpkinMustard SeedMowed LawnMermaid LagoonBlueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet)
    • Use the brush to lift some color from the ink pad & then swipe it on the stencil with a flicking motion to achieve the gradation of color.
    • Carefully remove the stencil & trim the cardstock down to 4" x 5  1/4".
    • Then stamp  Moonlight Fairy & Look For The Rainbows stamps with Black Archival Ink on the bottom right corner.
    • Use foam adhesive to mount it on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white card base.
