Hello friends & welcome to So Suzy & The Ton Blog Hop - Day 2

if not then you have few more days to do so & get a chance to win some awesome prizes...

I have a card & tutorial today made with Fresh Cut DahliasGeometric Lattice Coverplate Die & Sweet Things stamp set.

I started with die cutting my frame as demonstrated in the pictures below.

Then I inked it with Mowed Lawn Distress ink.

I used the Geometric Lattice Coverplate die to emboss the backgroud using my embossing mat & Ebosser. Embossing cardstock with the die gives a different look than using the die to cut... This is a fun way to get more out of your dies...

I adhered this embossed panel on my card base & then adhered the green frame with foam adhesive on top.
Next I stamped the flowers from Fresh Cut Dahlias, stamp set with pink, blue & yellow inks, fussy cut them & adhered them on my card front. I used foam adhesive to add dimension to the flower arrangement.

For the sentiment I used Sweet Things stamp & stamped it on a piece of white cardstock. I used Mini MISTI to position the stamp correctly on my cardstock piece. Then I cut it out with a die & adhered it on the card front so that it is slightly curved.

The last step was to add half pearls on the four corners.

Here are some of the close-ups that show how adding foam adhesive adds more depth to the flower arrangement...
