Tulip Time with Diamond Dies

Hello and welcome to Heartfelt inspiration...
It's a special launch week and we have some gorgeous dies for you guys...
Heartfelt Creations has been coming out with special mini release since last year and manages to surprise us each time with yet another amazing collection....
This time it is Diamond Dies... This collection has 4 sets of dies:

I have used Diamonds & Lace Die  for today's card along with some of the older dies and Tulip Time collection. I have tried to show you how you can use the small accent pieces in a different way to create a border.

Other Products: Watercolor Cardstock and Pearls.

Instructions:  Cut a piece of 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of pattern paper from Tulip Time Paper Collection and adhere it to a  5" x 7" white cardbase. Cut another piece of 5 3/4" x 2 1/2" pattern paper from the same paper collection and cut the top at an angle so that the height of left side is 1" and the right side is 2 1/2". Adhere this piece to the bottom of the card.

Die cut a piece of black cardstock using the largest die fromDiamonds & Lace Die  and adhere it to the 
card font as shown. Die cut a piece of black cardstock using the eyelet die from Eyelet Rectangle & Basics Die and adhere it to center of the previous die cut using Darice Adhesive Foam Strips. Mat it with a piece of pattern paper from Tulip Time Paper Collection. Die cut a piece of white cardstock using the doily die from Butterfly Kisses Decorative Die and adhere it to the Eyelet Rectangle layer using Darice Adhesive Foam Strips.

Die cut 4 pieces of black cardstock using the dies from Diamonds & Lace Die  and adhere them on a strip of pattern paper as shown to create a border. Trim the extra pattern paper and adhere this border on the card front as shown using Darice Adhesive Foam Strips.

Stamp the vase from Tulip Vase & Fillers Cling Stamp Set on a piece of watercolor cardstock using Coffee Archival Ink  Stamp the flowers from the same stamp set on watercolor cardstock using Vibrant Fuchsia, Majestic Violet and Olive Archival Inks. Die cut these using matching dies from Tulip Vase & Fillers Die. Stamp the flower bunch image from Tulip Bouquet Cling Stamp Set  on watercolor cardstock using Vibrant Fuchsia and Olive Archival Inks. Die cut these using matching die from Tulip Bouquet Die. Color all the images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. Curve the Vase slightly to give a rounded shape.

Arrange and adhere all the flowers, leaves and vase as shown. Add few pearls and Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops to the die cuts to add finishing touch.

Die Cut Flap Card

Mowed Lawn and Picked Raspberry Distress ink, Versamark ink, Ranger Silver Embossing powder, Transparent and Pink Glitter, Gansai Tambi Watercolors, Koi Watrbrush, Watercolor cardstock and pearls.

Instructions:
Die cut the bottom of 6" x 6" piece of white cardstock using the die from Ornate Pocket Accents Die. Trim the edges so that the height of the remaining piecce is 5 3/4" and the top width is 5". Score this piece at 1/2" from the top.

Take a 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" pattern paper from Sweet Peony Paper Collection and make a 5" wide slit 1/4" from the top. Insert and glue the 1/2" tab from the previous step inside this slit. Adhere this piece to a 6" x 6" piece of white cardstock. Decorate the top of the die cut piece using the same paper collection and Ornate Pocket Accents Die. 

Stamp the flowers from Buttons and Blooms Cling Stamp Set using Versamark Ink on  watercolor cardstock and heat emboss them using Heat It Craft Tool and White Embossing Powder. Color them using Koi Watrbrush and orange and green colors from Gansai Tambi Watercolors. Die cut them using matching dies from Buttons and Blooms Die. Shape all the flowers using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Add Hot Mama Prills  to the flower centers. Use the green flower petals as leaves. 

Stamp the Decorative Vase stamp from Merry and Bright Accents Cling Stamp Set using Versamark Ink on  white cardstock and heat emboss them using Heat It Craft Tool and Ranger Silver Embossing powder. Cut off the leg of the vase and adhere it to the left side of the die cut flap. Arrange and adhere all the flowers and leaves as shown inside the vase.

Stamp the corset image from Floral Corset Cling Stamp Set using Versamark Ink on  watercolor cardstock and heat emboss them using Heat It Craft Tool and Gold Embossing Powder. Color it with Picked Raspberry Distress ink using Stack and Store Daubers and Koi Watrbrush. Die cut it using matching die from Floral Corset Die. Apply glitter to few parts of the corset. Curve and shape it slightly.

Die cut the leaf swirl from white cardstock using the die from Cut Mat Create 2A Die. Ink it with Mowed Lawn Distress ink using Stack and Store Daubers. Shape it using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Cut it strategically and adhere behind the corset die cut we made in last step. Adhere the pinished piece to the card front as shown. Glue some pearls to the die cut to add finishing touch.

Easy Masking With Diecuts

Hello friends and welcome to Heartfelt Wednesday...

Have you seen the newly launched Tulip Time Collection?
It has some gorgeous images and today I have used one of my favorite images from the collection on my card
I have also used the matching die to create a mask while stenciling the background... This is a very easy way to create a mask instead of spending a lot of time fussy cutting.

Tim Holtz Mini Ornate stencil, Pencil colors, masking paper, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks.

Instructions:

Stamp the image from Tulip Bouquet Cling Stamp Set on a piece of 4" x 5 1/4" white cardstock using Jet Black Archival Ink. Color the image using various color pencils. Die cut a piece of masking paper or copy paper using matching die from the Tulip Bouquet Die. Place the die cut on the colored image and then place the Tim Holtz Mini Ornate stencil on top. Ink it with Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks using Stack and Store Daubers. Remove the stencil and masking paper and color the area around the image using black and grey pencil colors. 

Stamp the sentiment from Cheerful Note Sentiments Cling Stamp Set on the bottom left side of the card stamped image. Adhere this panel to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white card base using Darice Adhesive Foam Strips.

Transparent Glitter and White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops

Instructions: Take a 9" x 7 1/4" piece of white cardstock and score it at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2". Die cut the 2 1/2" flap using the border die from Fleur Border Basics Die. Decorate this piece using pattern paper from Tulip Time Paper Collection and black border die cuts made using dies from Elegant Border Basics Die, Elegant Border Basics Die and Eyelet Border Basics Die.

Die cut 2 pieces of black cardstock using the border die from Border Essentials Die. Take a 2" x 4" piece of white cardstock and score it at 1/2" on both sides. Decorate this piece using the border die cuts and pattern paper from Tulip Time Paper Collection. Adhere this piece on the middle section to create a belly band to insert cash or gift card.

Die cut a piece of black cardstock using the die from Festive Holiday Die.
Die cut one piece each of pattern paper, black and white cardstock using oval die from Eyelet Oval and Basics Small Dies. Take the black die cut and cut its center using a smaller die from Eyelet Oval and Basics Large Dies to create a thin frame. Take a 3/4 x 6 3/4" strip of black cardstock and 1/2" x 6 3/4" strip of pattern paper and layer them together. Score this strip at 2" and 5 3 /8". Fold it over and adhere the ends behind the oval pattern paper diecut. Adhere the white die cut behind the pattern paper to hide the raw edges to form the belly band. Adhere the black Festive Holiday Diecut on the pattern paper oval die cut as shown. Trim the black oval frame die cut so that the edges are flush with the ends of Festive Holiday Diecut.

Stamp the flowers from Tulip Time Cling Stamp Set Bright Tangelo and Vibrant Fuchsia Archival Inks and ink them with the same inks using  Stack and Store Daubers. Die cut them using the matching dies from Tulip Time Die. Shape the flowers using 3D Tulip Shaping Mold and Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. add red and green stamens from Bright Bead Stamens to the flower centers.

Stamp the leaves from Tulip Vase & Fillers Cling Stamp Set with Olive Archival Ink and color them using Leaf Green Archival Ink. Die cut them using matching dies from Tulip Vase & Fillers Die. Arrange and adhere the flowers and leaves as shown on the belly band. Apply a little Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the flowers and dust them with transparent glitter. Add drops of White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops around the flower arrangement to add finishing touch.
