Christmas Ornament Tutorial

Hello Friends…

This is my first WHW Tutorial…
Today I am making a shaker card with our new Christmas release

I have made a Christmas Ornament with a scene…

Let’s begin with a step-by-step tutorial…

Take a piece of white cardstock slightly larger than the ornament that you want to create & draw a circle in the middle.
Create a mask with a piece of Post-it- Note or masking tape in shape of a curve & stick it on the bottom of the circle as shown in the picture above …

Slightly ink with Tumbled Glass Distress ink along the edges & stamp the reindeer from Build a Stocking stamp set with Black Archival ink without removing the mask.
Now make another mask & ink it with Tumbled Glass Distress ink along the edges as shown in the picture above…
Now stamp the tree from Build a Stocking stamp set with Black Archival ink without removing the mask.

Now take the first mask & mask almost half the circle as shown in the above pic.

Ink the whole circle with Broken China, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks… keep the edges a bit darker than the center.

Remove the mask… To create the stars/ snowflakes take a little perfect pearls, mix it with water & create small dots with it…

Now take a 4”x5.25” of white cardstock & die cut a circle in the middle.  Cut 2 more small circle & heat emboss the snowflakes from Build a Stocking stamp set in silver… Ink them both…
Stick a piece of acetate / Clear cardstock to cover the hole and Add foam tape around the circle’s edge with out leaving any gap from inside …
Add a little Twinklets Diamond Dust or any shaker element like micro beads or sequins & stick the scene we created earlier…
Add the small ornaments on both sides.
Add some silver die cuts, strings & some rhinestones to complete this panel…
Matte this panel with silver cardstock & mount on a A2 top folding card base.
Heat emboss the sentiment from Big Holidays stamp set… Cut the banner & add it with foam tape on the card front.

The diamond dust looks like snow when shaked… When my younger sister saw this she couldn’t stop playing with this card… Lol…

I hope you like my card & give it a try… Thank you for visiting today…  J
