New Year & New Beginnings

Hello friends... and  Wish you all
A Very Happy & Prosperous New Year..

My new year started with a BANG...

I got selected as a Design Team Member for Inspired By Stamping...
Wooo Hooooo
I got this news on 2nd January 1st thing in the morning...
Can't even express how excited I was when I got this news...

(Inspired By Stamping is a big stamping company based in Australia...

Below are the 3 projects I made to submit for their DT call..
I made a photo frame, a gift box  & a card based on the inspiration pic below..

My sister's birthday is today so I thought to make all of these as her birthday presents...
(She loves my handmade gifts  :D)
& this was the reason behind this delayed post... I had to keep them secret till she opened her presents... hehehe
This year she is going to get a BIGGGG surprise..

I love making handmade flowers... & the moment I saw this pic I knew that I had to make similar roses for my projects...
I experimented a bit & came up with these gorgeous roses & buds...
I have used lots of pink in all the 3 projects..
Below are their close-ups...

I loved making these roses... don't they look gorgeous & real...  :)

This box was filled with handmade dark dry fruit chocolates before I sent it to her... :)

Love the cute little ladybug :)

Now I am impatiently waiting for my IBS welcome kit... hehehe
Can't wait to start creating with IBS supplies  :)

This one was made as a wedding gift for a couple from their friend..

Inside the explosion box there is a space to add 4 heart shaped tags..
3 tags have the couple's picture on one side & the other side is embossed & inked..
The fourth tag has their initials on the embossed & inked side & the other side is left plane for a personal message.

The center piece is a white & red wedding cake with hearts, roses & butterfly...

Another Anniversary Explosion Box

Hello Friends,

Recently I have been getting a lot orders for magic explosion boxes..
This one was made as 1st anniversary gift from the wife to her hubby..
I made this in record time & the recipient loved it  :)

She wanted her explosion box to be similar to this one with a different color combination & space for more photographs..

But since all my explosion boxes are unique I had to make some more changes in the design... hehehe..
& I am glad that she loved it  :)

Heart shaped cake in the center

The cake opens up to reveal a heart shaped tag with their initials..
This space will be used for a small gift also..

Each side has 2 panels.. view of the explosion box with inner panels closed

Chalkboard Stamping

Hi Friends..

I have a good news to share with you all...
Guess who is the new DT of Color Conceptions Challenge Blog ..... ???

Thats right.... Its ME.... Yayyyyyy... ^_^

& this months challenge is now up on CCCB: Stamping techniques
& here is what I made for the inspiration..

I always wanted to try the chalkboard technique & so I decided give it a try with my new  Just Rite stamps..
After stamping & heat embossing I added some pencil colour shading to resemble the coloured chalk effect & bling to make it a bit more colourful..
I kept the card very simple to keep the focus on the stamping....
