It's A Shower

Hello friends & welcome to Heartfelt Wednesday...

I have tried a new to me technique  using the Decorative Medallion Die & Gold Embossing Powder.
I saw this technique here demonstrated by Jennifer McGuire
The  end results look stunning somewhat like gold foiling
I didn't want to hide the beautiful background so I have kept the card very simple!
Read till the end for supply list & instructions for this card...

Bengali Wedding Magic Explosion Box

Hello friends...

Some of you may have seen this

This Explosion box turned out to be more beautiful than what I had in mind...

This magic explosion box was made on order for a bengali bride to be. It will be used to hold a scroll with an index list for all the gift items called the "tatwo suchi".

The colour combination of this magic explosion box is inspired by the traditional bengali saree. The bride to be wanted this colour combination along with red roses & a place for the "tatwo suchi".

The photographs don't do justice to this box.. It looks much more majestic & beautiful in real.. :)

Please ignore the glare in the photographs.... The tube light decided to get fused when I was setting up everything for the photoshoot... & I had to depend on my camera flash & the gold portions are really difficult to capture... specially with the flash...  :(
Top of the box

Label on the front panel with "tatwo suchi" written in bengali
Angled view of the box
Side view
Open front panel
Full view of the opened box
Pillar in the center surrounded by red roses & a flying golden butterfly to hold the "tatwo suchi"
Top view of the open box
Front view of the open box
View of the  "tatwo suchi" kept outside the box

25th Wedding Anniversary Scrapbook

Hello..

25th Wedding Anniversary is a very special day in any couples life...
When my client asked me to suggest some gift options for the Silver Wedding Anniversary from a son to their parents the 1st thing that came to my mind was a Scrapbook showing their journey of 25 years...

They liked the idea but they were a bit reluctant to order it as I had no photographs of the scrapbooks I made in the past...
& my own scrapbook that I had made for my hubby capturing all the moments we shared from the time our photographs were exchanged till our engagement was packed away somewhere... { I kept it at a safe place when we shifted to this new place & as always forgot that safe place... :(   }
But anyways they trusted me & gave the order after I verbally explained to them what a scrapbook is...

When  I was planning to make this scrapbook I was only sure of one thing...
I was going to use silver colour... but not for the background... only for the embellishments...
But I was not sure which colours I should use with silver...

After much thinking I decided to use textured white base with glimmer mist for the pearl finishing & silver die cuts... with splash of colours added with the help of rhinestones, flowers etc...
This was the perfect combination which I was looking for...
Elegant & fit for a Silver Wedding Anniversary...

So here are the photographs of the scrapbook I made...

The pearl finish of the background is not very visible in the photographs but it looks gorgeous in real life...
The photographs don't do justice to this scrapbook... But still this is the best I could manage because I completed the scrapbook only few hours before the delivery time...

There is not much to explain
All the sentiments & text are computer generated ...
& I have used lots of dies from spellbinders, cherry lynn, joy crafts & memory box...
& lots of rhinestones..

Tags for both the sons to write message for their parents...

I have left spaces for 3 photographs on the last 2 pages so that they can attach the photographs of their 25th wedding anniversary celebration & complete the scrapbook..
