Another Fairy Card

Hello friends...

Welcome to So Suzy Stamps inspiration post...

I am sharing a card today made with my favorite Moonlight Fairy stamp & a fun background...
I love how it turned out....
20170309_121757 - Copy
I started with a piece of watercolor cardstock. I misted it with water then sprinkled Brusho color crystals in Turquoise. I repeated this step several times till I achieved the look I liked. I also kept the cardstock a little tilted so that the water & colors flowed towards the bottom...

Then I die cut the piece with stitched rectangle die.

I used my Mini MISTI, Versamark ink & Ranger silver embossing powder to stamp & heat emboss Moonlight Fairy image in one corner of the die cut.

Once my focal point was ready I prepared my background. I scored at every 1/4" on my background piece & die cut 2 borders from white cardstock & Heartfelt Creations Die & glued them down on my card base.

Here is a closeup of my background & shining Moonlight Fairy

I used some pearls to decorate the border...

And here is my card for today's post & I also have a small tutorial...
20170228_215701
I started by stamping my card base with Rose Bloom stamp & Black Archival ink concentrating on the bottom & right side which will be visible after I layer the left panel on top.
20170228_212543
Then I inked up the smaller cardstock using iStencil - 27-00002, worn lipstick distress ink & Clarity Brush.
20170228_213505
I used a black marker to add a border on this panel. I used my Mini MISTI to stamp Simple Birthday stamp with balck ink on it. After assembling the card I used Gloss Apple Green Nuvo Crystal Drops to add some interest & draw the eyes towards the sentiment.

Roses & Confetti Happy Birthday

Hello friends & welcome to So Suzy Stamps inspiration post
Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for Miss Suzy's Birthday Blog Hop but I had a little accident & so couldn't post on 20th  :(
Better late than never... right!
So here I am sharing the card... with rosesconfetti & a lot of gold...

A Very- Very Happy Birthday Miss Suzy!!!

Scroll down for the tutorial...

I have used Kraft cardstock for my card today...
I started with die cutting the top of my front panel with a speech bubble die
20170216_200340
Then I used masking & heat embossing the Rose Bloom stamp just below the die cut on the bottom part of the 2 parts that I got from the previous step. I have used Ranger's superfine detail gold embossing powder for this.
20170216_201559
Once it was heat embossed I used Dot Splatter stamp & masking to create the confetti below the roses. This time I used WOW metallic gold sparkle embossing powder to heat emboss as I wanted the confetti with glitter & sparkle...
20170216_202124
I also wanted some color in my card so I used my waterbrush to do quick watercoloring on the heat embossed images...
20170216_204824_001
Then I used my  used Mini MISTI to  stamp Simple Birthday stamp on the top par of the die cut speech bubble & heat embossed it using Ranger's superfine detail gold embossing powder.

Here is my finished card after both the front pieces were glued to the card base... the gold looks so pretty...

Mirror Image Event + Giveaway

Hello friends & welcome to Mirror Image Event...

Every day in the month of February, the design team members from My Sweet Petunia, The Ton and So Suzy Stamps will create a card using the Mirror Image Stamp. There will be blog posts, videos and a ton of instructions on how we all use the Mirror Image Stamp.

The Mirror Image Stamp is a great stamping tool that works with the MISTI to create reflections and reverse images.

We will have the entire list with links to everyone’s post on the So Suzy Stamps blog so you can come back and see the inspiration on a daily basis. We will also be sharing the cards on Facebook and Instagram, just in case you miss a blog post.

Now moving on to the card I made for Mirror Image Event
20170210_173234
I started with using my Mini MISTI & stamped Moonlight Fairy stamp on  Mirror Image Stamp using versamark ink 2-3 times so that I get a good impression. Then I took my cardstock & put it face down on the Mirror Image Stamp & burnished it nicely using my fingers.
20170208_211357
Next I used WOW metallic platinum glitter embossing powder to heat emboss my image.
20170208_211828
The next step was to stamp the Moonlight Fairy stamp on  the cardstock directly using versamark ink & my Mini MISTI.
20170208_212023
I again used WOW metallic platinum glitter embossing powder to heat emboss my image.
20170208_212341
I die cut the bottom portion of the stamped cardstock using a border die & then I inked up the card panels using a decorative stencil, blue distress inks & Clarity Brush.
20170208_215338
The  Leave a Little Sparkle stamp was heat embossed on a die cut & inked piece of card stock & adhered to the card front.
20170210_173240
The final step was to embellish the card using rhinestones & pearls...
