Upcycled 3D Glitter Glue Storage

Helloo...

I know I have not posted anything in the last 2 weeks....
But trust me I was very busy with many things...
I have opened my online craft supply shop...
[Do visit my store for some amazing deals... & a giveaway will be announced in a few days... so stay tuned to win some awesome goodies....  :)  ]
I was also busy designing....
MY OWN LINE OF STAMPS... :)
& The sneak peeks will start in few days... yayyy...
I am also taking order for customized watermarks & Clear stamps...
( Click  here to view  a sample )

So, moving on to today's project...

I made this....

From this...

I love Glitter Glue.... Its a mess free way of adding glitter to the projects...
& whenever I go to some craft store & see a new colour I buy it....
& Now I have more than 30 of them.... hehehe...
Previously I used to store them in a Ferrero Rocher box...
but it can only hold 16 bottles ...
So I had to figure out a way to store the remaining bottles...
Something with a straight edge so that they won't start falling....
& these empty carton tape rolls were perfect...
I had some left from the time we shifted to our new flat...
(I had to hide them from my hubby who likes to throw away things that are useless according to him... hehehe )

So I took an empty roll of carton tape, a mount board circle (to make base).... Lined the inside with white alabaster paper... Then embellished it with Pattern Paper , Lace, (adhered with hot glue gun )Satin Ribbon,  Kundan Stones, Glitter Glue, & some Quilled flowers & leaves & converted an ugly looking & useless piece of empty roll into a beautiful storage for my glitter glue bottles...   :)

Isn't it pretty....!!!
I love it....
I think I will make few more of these...

Lattice Window Card

Hello...

So here is the 2nd small card I made...
I used a Victorian Square Die to cut out the window..
& then weaved the lattice with 2 mm strips hand cut from the same white cardstock which I used for the card base... Then I used another panel of the same size as the card with the same window cut out at the exact same position & adhered it on the inside to hide the raw edges of the paper strips...
Then I added some Quilled flowers, buds, leaves, ribbon & rhinestones to decorate it..

I Scream...You Scream....We all scream for ICE-CREAM.... :D

Hello...

This is a card I made for my younger brother's friend...
He wanted a card with ice-cream & balloons for his friend's birthday...

I embossed yellow & green cardstock with itsy-bitsy folders & added a dark purple ribbon & bow at the joint...

Next I die cut a purple scalloped square...
I added a light yellow CS ( distressed with deep yellow on the edges ) on top of the purple square...

The Ice-cream scoops, cherry, chocolate wafer sticks & the ice-cream bowl ... all are made with quilling...
I covered the Ice-cream bowl with blue 3D glitter glue to add shine & sparkle...  :)

I love the chocolate wafer rolls... they look so real...  :)

I decorated the inside of the card with some cuttlebug die cuts...
I tied some sewing thread to the balloons & attached the end to the party die cut...
The cake was cut out in different colours & then each piece was cut out & pasted on the cake base...
Some glitter was added to the Die cuts to make them sparkle... :)
I also made a matching envelope by sticking a bunch of die cut balloons & party on a yellow envelope...

Flowers in a Frame

Hello...

Another quick post with a new card.....
This is a very simple & elegant design...
I cut a brown panel with a scalloped square die...
Then embossed it using swirls embossing folder...
This panel was then mounted on top of a pink CS with a slightly smaller square hole  to make the frame for the quilled flowers..
I used white ribbon to embellish bottom part of the card...

Red Flowers

Hello...

I am still at my mom's place & will be here for the next 2 months....
& that means few posts & short posts... As I don't come online very often...
But I am still working on new crafty projects....
(& I will share them with you all... as & when possible...)
I brought some of my craft stuff along with me ...
& I also purchased some stuff from Delhi...  :D
I got a new A3 self healing craft mat.. craft knife.. lots of patterened papers.. crepe papers..binder clips..spray paints...etc...

So here are 2 more cards... Both of them have almost same colours except for yellow...

I got the inspiration for these flowers from here.. however I have made little changes to place them on a card

Anniversary Magic Explosion Box

This is my first custom order Magic Explosion Box...
In the last post I told you about a fren....
She wanted to gift her hubby a Magic Explosion Box for their 2nd Wedding Anniversary...
She told me that she wanted the theme to be love... but only 1 or 2 hearts....
The base for the box should be black... with red or pink colour...
She also wanted some roses & a cake...& ladybugs...
She also told me to incorporate 2 somewhere in the design as its their 2nd wedding anniversary...
She left the designing entirely on me...

I decided to make the base of the Magic Explosion Box with black, Pink & White colour combination
To give it an elegant & sophisticated look I used white butterflies inside the box along with a white cake decorated with red roses & pearls...

Box from top
I wrote 2 on the top of the box with black quilling strips... & decorated it with some spiral roses, Ladybugs, leaves & a butterfly...

All the sides are done with 2 layers of Ivory board...
I coloured bigger pieces of Ivory board with pink water colour & then layered it with pearl pink colour to make it glimmer...

Then embossed another smaller piece of Ivory board with one side of the embossing folder coloured in pink colour... for a two tone effect...

The Box without the lid
Open Magic Explosion Box...

I made a white cake decorated with tiny spiral red roses & a white butterfly  for the center of the box...

The Cake is actually the lid of a box hidden inside...

The box contains her & her hubby's quilled initials on a heart shaped card... which is decorated with some tiny white pearls & a red ribbon rose...

Close-up of the Initials

Here you can see the butterflies clearly...
I punched 1 butterfly from plain white paper & 1 from parchment paper & then made the design on the parchment butterfly with white pen... then I stuck both of them in the middle & decorated with 2 small white pearls...
