Stamping, Heat Embossing & Distressing with Distress Inks

Hello friends..

Just dropping by quickly so share a card I made sometime back..

These days I am really addicted with distress inks.. & using them for different techniques like stamping, colouring, distressing, heat embossing etc..

I got some new stamps & wanted to try them out..
The background is stamped with Floral Flourishes (Just Rite stamp) & Seedless preserves distress ink..
I then distressed the edges with my scissors, Antique linen & Vintage photo

The images were stamped with Black soot & then heat embossed  with rangers black embossing powder.

I have propped the front panel on dimensionals & embellished with ribbon, lace & rhinestone.

Distressed Envelopes

Hello friends,

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my distress inks..
So I got a little crazy after I saw Rajni aunty's post..
& made many backgrounds using distress ink techniques at one go...hehehe...
(For some of them I don't even remember the colour combinations used..)

I adhered these beauties to some coloured money envelopes..
These backgrounds turned out so beautiful that I didn't want to cover them..
So I used minimal embellishments to decorate them..
I used some stamping, heat embossing, glitter, pearls, rhinestones, diecuts & punched borders to jazz them up.. & turn them into these gorgeous envelopes..

1) Picked Raspberry & seedless preserves  2) Peacock Feathers & mustard Seed

1) Mustard Seed & Spiced Marmalade 2) Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade & fired brick

Mowed Lawn, Peeled paint, vintage photo/ walnut stain

1) Peacock feathers & worn lipstick   2)Peacock feathers, Seedless preserve, picked raspberry

Spring Mini Album

Hello friends..

These days I am in a full crafting mode...
& I am hooked on to making mini albums  :)

Here is a new Mini album I completed today..
It is based on spring theme..
I only got to click the pic of the cover..
I will soon take out time to make a video of this album..

Till then enjoy the cover..  :)
I love the papers I used for this album..
the colours are so pretty... The photographs don't do justice to them..
The background paper looks like a greenish grey but it is actually a very pretty shade of pastel green ..
You can view the video of this mini HERE
